Description:
Recently declared as treasure and donated to Liverpool museum by the landowner.
A complete silver annular brooch dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1250-1350).
The brooch has a circular frame and circular cross section. It has a narrowed constriction for the placement of a pin that is now missing. One half of the frame is decorated with a twisted rope-like design that is present on the face and reverse. The other half is plain and undecorated.
