Finds From Wirral – Lead Shot

This is a small group of lead shot of varying diameters. They are dated from AD 1600-1800. Some of the fields that we investigate have been very heavily used for shooting.

In total we have approximately 230 different shot ranging from tiny ball shot up to musket balls weighing nearly 40 grams.
